Frequently asked questions

What do you use to spray?

For fly control, the oil based insecticide (1-1.5 QT) of your choice and 1 gallon of mineral oil  works well.  Some substitute diesel for some of the mineral oil. It is strongly recommended to use some  mineral oil as it seems to make it more effective; also it lubricates the pump, adding to the longevity of the fogger.

How do I hook up my machine?
  1. Connect the positive (red) cable at feeder or bale bed motor. The positive lead coming to that motor should be #1 or #2 cable (most are). If that connection has a breaker, it needs to be at least 200 amp.
  2. It is recommended to mount unit on a rubbery mat; however, the foam packing in the box can be used temporarily. A ratchet strap works well to hold the unit down and the rope handle can be untied and used for additional restraint.
  3. Experiment to identify the best mounting spot for the wand on your rig.
  4. The yellow control box is a backup wired remote in case wireless is not working (low battery). It can be wired into the cab and connected to upfitter switches, if desired.

Where are your products manufactured?

Our product is manufactured in Edmond, Oklahoma.

Can I use this on horses?

No. Do not use the fogger on horses or any other livestock.

What is the best way to fog cattle?

Fogging cattle in a line is recommended. Fog with the wind about 10-15 yards away from the cattle while moving at 7-9 mph. When breaking in new cattle, you may want to fog from a slightly further distance. Do not fog if the wind exceeds 25 mph.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is calculated based on your location and the items in your order. You will always know the shipping price before you purchase.

How long can I run my fogger?

Do not run your fogger for more than 4 minutes continuously. Let the fogger cool down before using again.

How do I winterize my fogger?

At the end of the fogging season, drain the tank, as the intake line does not go to the bottom. This is also a good time to remove the pump and motor assembly and clean the screen filter. When finished, run some mineral oil through the gallon to reach the bottom of the itnake; but you only need to run a small amount through. Save the balance for the next year. Keep an eye out for leaks, connections can loosen over time.
